I've had pages on the Internet since 1995, so now that the year 2000 has arrived (and due to some prodding from friends), I guess it is time to put the obligatory, but boring stuff ..... about me, online ... here we go.
I was born and raised in a small town in southeast Idaho. I've spent the majority of my life here, with the exception of ten years spent in Alaska. A beautiful state with wonderful scenery, which has been a great inspiration for my dabbles in computer art. It was also in Alaska where I discovered the wonders of home computers with a VIC-20 .. anyone remember those? Cassette tapes for storage devices! But I became hooked and when the Commodore-64 became available, I immediately upgraded. A few years later another upgrade to a PC clone with a huge amount of storage .. 40MB(s) of hard drive space. WOW! All the storage space a person would ever need .. right!
During eight of those years in Alaska I was employed as an Administrative Assistant with the Department of Corrections, State of Alaska, where I also had the pleasure of working with computers in a professional setting. It was so great having fun and doing what you loved most at your place of employment .. like heaven.

Perhaps it's time to finish this .. we, (my husband of 20 years and myself) returned to the 'lower 48' in 1990 and settled down in a rural area of SW Oregon. In 1996, we moved back to Idaho and that is about the time my interest in computer art was born and has remained to this day. Thanks to a very understanding husband, I am able to devote a large amount of time doing what I love most. Art has become a very important part of my life, sometimes frustrating, but eventually rewarding. Some of it mediocre, some that I like very much and a lot that remains unfinished. I do most of my art work during the winter months as I spend a lot of time outdoors during the summer. So, if I seem to be invisible then .. I'm not .. I'm mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, cleaning the pond, creating landscape art .. and yes, I need to do an image of the pond. Next project. Thanks for reading this if you did .. and now back to images, not text.
